Friday, Saturday, and Sunday ride from Council Bluffs to Onawa and back. Council Bluffs to Onawa is 60 miles of mostly flat Old Lincoln Highway and County roads along the base of the loess hills. Camping Friday and Saturday nights with bathrooms and hot showers provided.
ONABIKE WEEK-END BIKE TOUR
If you would like an
introduction to self-contained touring or if you’re a seasoned tour rider looking
for the company of a group, join us for a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday ride
from Council Bluffs to Onawa and back. Council Bluffs to Onawa is 60 miles of
mostly flat Old Lincoln Highway and County roads along the base of the loess
hills. Camping Friday and Saturday nights is at the On-Ur-Way camp ground with
bathrooms and hot showers provided.
If this is your first time touring self-contained, we can
help out with loaner equipment and packing advice. The ride will be August
27, 28, and 29 including Onabike, the Saturday
tour of the loess hills. Including the Old Home filler-up and Keep On truckin’
Café and Murray Hill scenic overlook.
