May/June Rides

BBC has asked the OBPC to join together for this very important event. This ride is May 15, starts at 7:00 PM at Twin Creek trailhead Lets show the community that we are out there by joining this event and wear your OPBC jersey!

Please See BBC Page for details and Registration

There will be about 20 minutes of presentations before the ride including Dr Kim Latacha, wife of Dr. Matther Latacha. The ride is currently scheduled to follow HY370 a short way and then continue to side streets. The entire route will be protected by police escort. Total length of about 12 miles. This will be a slow and silent ride meant to bring attention to drivers that cyclists have the legal right to the roads and to the following 2023 fatalities:

  • Jan 7 - Martin Anderson - struck by vehicle on MWY 26, GERING

  • Sep 16 - John Turpan - struck by pickup truck at 72nd & Pratt, Omaha
  • Dec 10 - Whit Richards - toddler bike struct by pickup truck at S 6th & E St, Eagle
